Crafting a successful college essay is as much about helping the student discover what is unique about their experience, perspective or self, as it is about solid writing and clear expression.

With this in mind, our process begins with self-discovery. Through a series of exercises, I help the student explore their individual archive and uncover those gems that are worthy of exploration. With careful prompts, open-ended questions and honest conversation, together we land on topics and the writing process begins.
